I remember sitting across the table from my brother, talking about business opportunities. When he mentioned this opportunity, I knew it was the one I wanted to go for after. I love everything about Amazon. As a matter of fact, I am one of the obsessed customers they talk about in their mission.  I am a wife to my wonderful Husband Nick Yates (also a realtor, yes that's a plug) who was born and raised in San Diego. That's right! Born and raised in our city. So yes, you can ask us about almost all things San Diego and we'd probably know how to point you in the right direction or we know someone who can point you in the right direction.

Okay, back to my story! I am also a proud mother of two beautiful children, Titan and Braven. They are my biggest teachers and my motivation. I graduated from San Diego State University and I'm proud to say, I received a scholarship for Track & Field. After graduation, I tried a few things and finally found my fit in Social Services serving adults with developmental disabilities.  After five years in the industry, I was promoted to the company President which is the highest position in the company. I started that job as an entry level employee making $8.00 but I never worked like an $8.00 an hour employee and I believe that's the real reason I advanced so quickly in my career. I always worked hard because work ethic is ingrained in me. I come from a family of hard workers. I know what hard work and hustle looks like and you can expect that from me and know that I also have the same expectation for those on my team.

My goal is to provide an environment where my team can thrive. I know what it feels like to work in a toxic environment. I know what it feels like to not feel seen, heard or valued at work. But I also know what it is like to be on a team where you feel just the opposite. I know what it is like to come to work everyday and feel good about it. It means everything to me to provide an environment where people can thrive and fell good about where they work. I will invest a lot of time creating this type of atmosphere for us. 

 

This business allows me the opportunity to give people from all different walks of life an honest income to support themselves and the people they love.  I do not take my responsibility and our opportunity to work for such an incredible company lightly.  I am honored to support and lead our team. I am honored to be the Lead Lifter -- the person who works the hardest when it comes to serving the team. I'm the one working hard to make sure you come to a job where you know you're appreciated.

As much as I love to work, I also love time with the family. In my free time, you'll find me making memories with my family. Overseeing a service project in our local community and brainstorming ways to be the best ELITE Delivery Service Partner.
